Our Philosophy

You have a story to tell - and so will your home. We believe in layering heirloom treasures with fresh finds, pulling in pieces of your personal history to create a collected design completely fingerprinted to who you are. We love collaborating with the talented artisans around Houston to create bespoke pieces for your project - not only because we have an affinity for the handmade, but because a high degree of customization allows your space to express exactly who you are.

When you work with us, you can count on two things. First, we always design with practicality in mind - we love a gorgeous stone countertop as much as anyone, and the outlets need to be placed so it’s a pleasure to cook! Second, we are reliable, staying in close touch so your project moves as fast as you do. We encourage clients to reach out to us early and often with every question you have - we look forward to meeting your needs with hard work and resourcefulness.

Meet Paula

Paula learned how to swim three months before completing a half Ironman - she’s a great believer in finding a way. She bought and remodeled a home while still in design school (her second college degree). After graduating magna cum laude, she spent a decade working in nationally recognized and award-winning interior design firms. Her work has since appeared in Architectural Digest and received awards from the American Society of Interior Designers.

Paula’s experience seamlessly blends construction, architecture, and design - she knows your home from building codes through finishing touches. She helps keep your budget roomy by fixing problems in the framing before a single hammer has swung. She offers painstaking attention to lighting and electrical placement while simultaneously sourcing the furniture and fabrics of your mood board dreams. The result is a home you can truly relish living in, down to the convenience of the last light switch.

Paula lives in gratitude for each client who comes through the door and seeks to work with the highest degree of integrity and transparency. She is an active member of Houston’s First Baptist Church, the American Society of Interior Designers, and the Junior League of Houston. She has completed over 36 full and half marathons, and loves spending time with her husband and cooking healthy food for her two boys (which they sometimes eat).
