For a design that you’re over the moon with, you deserve to fully immerse yourself into the process with a professional who listens to your needs, then meets those needs. Thus, our design services begin at $3,000 with a $20,000 purchasing minimum with a full room scope, which allows us to provide you with our full attention and bring your vision into being.  The purchasing minimum allows us to source exactly the items you require, often including commissioning local artisans to create one-of-a-kind pieces.

We happily look at your items on a case by case basis.  We love layering newly purchased furniture with vintage or heirloom pieces, provided each piece adds to the project’s potential.  We’re conscious of material consumption, and it’s not uncommon for us to use reclaimed or reupholstered materials, as long as it serves the vision for the project.

Our firm fully designs spaces with construction documents, spec books, and schedules; our clients are responsible for hiring their own builder, contractors, and/or architect.  We will gladly recommend reputable professionals to you, just ask!  We will conduct site visits and meet with contractors to make sure the design is being implemented as specified, and to answer questions about design intent.  We set your contractors up for success and aim to make their jobs easier.

We value our clients’ experience above all, and have found that it is easier for clients to budget confidently when we work with a flat fee rather than hourly rates.  Thus, at the outset of the project, we set a flat fee based on the scope of the work.

As you can imagine, this varies depending on the size of space and the types of finishes chosen.  That said, a living room that is 18’x22’ with a 10’ ceiling and three to four 5x7’ windows would include furniture, decor, a chandelier, lamps, custom throw pillows, a rug, bespoke art, and custom drapery, and this would run between 30-45k to complete.  This example estimate does not include design fees.

As with all rooms, this varies depending on size.  An average-sized kitchen would be around 200 sqft with 10’ ceilings, and clients can anticipate spending between 50-75k to finish the space with custom cabinets, stone countertops, backsplash, pendant lighting, appliances, fixtures, and cabinet hardware.  The budget can shift dramatically depending on the nature of the appliances and plumbing fixtures in particular - our firm helps direct clients and recommend product lines that are within your budget.
